Once you connect

  • Cass reads your account and never logs into it. She will not spend, pause or change anything unless you tell her to.
  • She does not show up as a user in your ad accounts. Access runs through Windsor, the data provider she reads through.
  • Nobody on your team gets an "access granted" email or notification.
  • Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, handled under GDPR, and you can delete all of it from your panel at any time.
  • Your data is never used to train a model.

To write a finding in plain English, Cass sends that finding to Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not train on data sent through it. Nothing else leaves.

Connect your ad accounts

Cass is in your Slack. She needs read access to the accounts she watches. One approval covers both, and you can take it back at any time.

You will be sent to Windsor, the data provider Cass reads through, and then to Meta — and to Google, if you use it — to approve access. You come straight back here and Cass picks the account up herself.

Cass still does not see your account?

This is the fallback, not the usual path. Give her the ad account ID from Meta Ads Manager, or the customer ID from the top right of Google Ads.

Everything unticked still happens, it just happens after you say yes. Ticking a box only removes the question, never the report.

What Cass can never do from a click

Changing budgets and creating new campaigns, ads or audiences are not on this list and cannot be added to it. Those move money or make new things, so they need a confirmation with the number in front of you. Cass will propose them; she will not execute them on a single tap.

What counts as a result

Cass reads your numbers either way. Without this she can tell you what a number is, but not whether it is good, so she will say so instead of guessing.

The address your ads send people to. Cass checks what measurement actually loads there for your visitors, which is not always what the ad account reports.

Slack connection

Cass is connected to this workspace. Disconnecting revokes her token at Slack, so she stops reading and writing immediately. Your ad account and permissions stay saved for when you come back.

One thing to know before you disconnect: the link to this panel arrives as a message from Cass in Slack. Once she is disconnected she cannot send it, so come back through heycass.co and install her again. This session stays open either way.

Ad account

Connected through Windsor. Disconnecting keeps Cass in your Slack but stops every scan until you connect an account again. Reconnecting sends you to Windsor for a fresh authorisation, which is also how you move Cass to a different ad account.

Google Ads account

Read through the same Windsor connection as Meta. Disconnecting stops Cass from looking at Google and drops the Google findings she has open. Everything on Meta carries on.

Delete account

This removes your installation, the connection to your ad account and everything Cass has stored about your findings. It cancels nothing at Stripe, so cancel your plan there first if you have one. It cannot be undone.
